So glad you have found us. We are a nomadic family of 9 travelling Australia with our six daughters, and our one son and forever missing our precious daughter Serenity who went to be with Jesus at 13 hours old on 12 March 2011. Her short life has changed our lives forever! As we travel we perform at shows, festivals and fundraisers with our dogs, help out on farms and also sell handmade woodcraft, dog collars, leads and capes. We are also doTERRA wellness advocates. Hello From the not yet famous 9!!

We are a family of 9, plus 3 dogs, plus 1 cat!  We are currently living in a semi-converted school bus.  We have been full time RVing for just over 3 years.

I am currently working on writing up a review of the last three years ... will post it here sometime.

Our family consists of 6 daughters aged 14, 13, 11, 8, 5, 3 and a son aged 20 months. We would also have another daughter who would be 3 months but sadly she left us at 13 hours old.

Our dogs are Sparkie 2 1/2 years old, Tess 2 years and Lassie 1 year.  The girls have taught them a lot of tricks and we recently performed at the Goomeri Pumpkin Festival in Queensland.  We hope to do more of this as we travel round.

Our cat is Gyvie (short for MacGyver who was the big hit at the time he was born).  Gyvie is about 3 months old.

We teach our kids as we travel using mostly an unschooling approach.  They all have a love of learning which we foster. The oldest four do reading/writing on a daily basis and maths most days.  The 5 year old is always hastling me to teach her to read!  Our education philosophy is "If you can't learn it in real life then you probably won't use it in real life".

  2. Sounds fun! We're planning to begin long term travel in a year or so, with our four kids. It's so very encouraging to find other who are doing it with large families!
