So glad you have found us. We are a nomadic family of 9 travelling Australia with our six daughters, and our one son and forever missing our precious daughter Serenity who went to be with Jesus at 13 hours old on 12 March 2011. Her short life has changed our lives forever! As we travel we perform at shows, festivals and fundraisers with our dogs, help out on farms and also sell handmade woodcraft, dog collars, leads and capes. We are also doTERRA wellness advocates. Canton Beach, NSW

Canton beach is a little gem on the shores of Lake Tuggerah.

There is plenty of parking for big rigs, though not particularly flat.

There is a fenced playground with some very unusual play equipment.  There was a large swinging hammock

There was numerous musical instruments.

Not only were they instruments', they were also climbable!

There was also a stone carved chair

The carved fish and intricately decorated mound added to the interest.

Outside the fence was another play area with swings including one for the larger disabled child, and a climbing frame and some tyres that when jumped on sounded like a harmonica!

Across the carpark is a boat ramp with good access for the shallow bottomed boat!

There are also clean toilets, tables and free BBQ facilities with undercover seating.

  1. Looks like a perfect spot to stop. Really love the idea of a musical playground, especially the tyres that sounded like a harmonica. See if you can get a short video clip of the sound.
Have already found you on the map, so am happy now I can find you.
Hope all the colds are clearing up too.
    Love you all.

  2. That looks like one amazing playground! Love the idea of being able to park the Bus and let the kids play/have fun. And bonus ~ toilets/BBQ area!
Looks really different with the playground equipment, at the same time looks like so much fun :)
